possibilities

are endless? so i was reading about grey goo and i was thinking about infinity, so my question is that if infinity is real, then it seems to me like there is nothing that is impossible. if there is even the most remote chance of something happening, then isnt it due to happen over infinity? so even the most remote ideas, like grey goo, either already happened, or are going to happen.

I believe in imperfect moebius strips.

There's got to be a reset button out there.

Check this out:

http://www.simulation-argument.com/

Basically,

(1) humans are likely to be extinct before reaching a “posthuman” stage;

(2) posthumans are unlikely to run a significant number of simulations of their evolutionary history (or variations);

(3) we are almost certainly living in a computer simulation.

If you believe there is a significant chance that we will one day become posthumans who run ancestor-simulations, then it already happened, and we are currently living in a simulation.
