chester, you're blog-o is looking really sharp. you got you're act together, kid! i'd love to hear what you're "studio on wheels" summer schedule is looking like. Maybe you could post a map on your blog and we could track your travels: "Where's Chester NOW?!" or something like that. super! But seriously, this is looking really good and the way you've organized it, both on the blog and on myspace, makes it look like a really exciting process to be apart of. People are gonna dig, my friend.
Dude your blog and project are so wicked awesome. I think the page layout is simple and straight forward and perfect for what you are doing. The only thing I would suggest is getting a sweet banner at the top. I agree with Brian that you should put up a map of your planned destinations. This is such a good idea and really exciting! Coming to Oakland???? Come to Oakland. Birthdays Birthdays Birthdays!!!
I also want to let you and everyone with a bloggerbeast know that they can change their favicons (the little picture next to the url, stands for 'favorites icon') and they can remove the grey banner at the top of their pages.
change your favicon in blogger
To remove the grey banner at the top of the page, go into the html of your blog and add this to the CSS (between the < style > tag, located in the < head >):
#navbar-iframe {
display: none;
}
Chester Gwazda,
Ben
Yeah... I definately need a cool banner. I originally put the background image up as a temporary thing, but it looked kinda good, so I left it. Farley had suggested that I have some troubador imagry, which I had though was cool, but I think this liiks good.
I wanted to have a flash map as the banner, which would have a logo with a short description (what do you think of my short description?). The map would have points on it showing where I had gone, and hovering over the point would bring up a box of links for each band.
Thanks for the tips ben... keep 'em coming!
Thanks pizza dudes.
Hey Chester, I love it, but I think you already know that.
