I'm glad that the this place is so full of noise!
I thingk the CALL FOR CONTENT is working - keep 'em coming - don't be 口 - yippie kai eye yay!
I am excited by the idea of having some more regular features on this site that can get us involved even when we don't have any projects ready to share...
I like how we are sharing unfinished works, and I would like to take a step DOWN, away from public finished works, and towards personal, private, raw, perhaps embarrassing but perhaps amazing STUFF...
Here's the proposal - go into any sketchbooks, notebooks, notes, demos, sketches, or electronic versions thereof that we created in the past year or so, photograph, scan, or somehow digitize them and post them up here. The point is to try to find something that is strange, weird and unfinished. Something that would not normally get by your public/private filter, something that might reveal your thinking as a disorganized, confused, and brilliant human. It may have incidental elements of your private life, i.e. shopping lists or receipts. You know, whatever's your modus stylus.
I think a good number would be THREE items. Cause ONE is an over-example, TWO is too dialectic, and FOUR is square rock and roll. (Well, that's just methink - actually any # is OK.)
Let's do this project in ONE WEEK. This will give you time to think about it and attack the process of digitation. So in a week (the weekend of March 10-11th) I'll post again asking y'all to post your images.
The QUESTIONz I am asking here are:
1. How can we improve on this idea? Can you see yourself participating?
2. EVERYBODY - how many of you have a digital camera, a scanner, or any other way of squeezing an image from the messworld into one of these electrothink boxes?
P.S. - Do y'all know this superbasic HTML thing - how to make some text into a link in your post or comment? This is a link to the Blogger page that explains how to do it. It's a very simple cut-and-paste thing that will increase the effectivity of our interconnectivity.

1. I think this is a stupid idea. I don't want to play your ridiculous games.
2. I have a camera, a scanner, a video camera, and a lens in the middle of my forehead. You can't use any of them. And you suck because you're poor.
This is some serious trash talking from what appears to be some sort of affluent droid. You gonna take this FGWAZ??
'anonymous' is really logan, right?
You can't fight anonymous, g-reg - it's like (insert irritating Lord of the Rings metaphor here). And Logan told me he doesn't read EPN because it's not as cool as MySpace. (Joke!) And he doesn't actually have a camera in his head (I assume anonymous was being literal?).
In response to what Drew is going to say... This idea would not just be for any half-finished idea or project - that's what most of the posts here on EPN are all about and y'all can just keep posting that like normal.... This is specifically about NOTEBOOKS and NOTES and variants thereof. Perhaps I was unclear in trying to be inclusive... I'm obsessed with notebook pages and I want to see them to catch a glipse of your think ways.
I actually have 2 scanners - both of which are broken in different ways, and I stole Chester's digital camera at some point but I hardly never use it... That's my awesome digital lab!
i have a bomb track digital lab...but i dont really use paper because it doesnt light up...nor does it have speakers...basically i get so bored out of my mind staring at it that i cant get anything done....uh...but my flash sketches have notes all over them...i like this idea...
I think if we get enough contributions, maybe we should start indexing it somewhere (like a supplemental website -- i might be able to help with that). It would be cool to browse a giant collaborative digital notebook online. It could be password protected in the beginning so only pizza people can see it,

thats a pretty good idea...i also thought that this page could sprout "side projects" and stuff...like i would really like to start a gallery page, maybe works completed through discussion on this page.
Yea, I'm feeling that. It would be really cool to see how everyone's stuff turned out after all the comments and suggestions and then it's like the gallery would have all of this great stuff in one place.
