This guy obviously has a hardon for trees and shit like that. How could he even think humans need a "healthy landbase"?? Hasn't he seen The Matrix? Terminator? These are just two of hundreds of possible futures which do not rely on nonhuman life forms. And I think that sounds great. Personally I hate nonhumans -- even the nicest dogs can bite, and even the healthiest looking trees can fall on your fucking house.
Seriously, if we've gotten this far, we must be pretty sustainable or else shit would have collapsed by now.
