new c-rex music video
Just did this new video to the song "honey dipped blunt".
It is largely blue screen because, unlike r kelly, i dont have the bills to rap in front of any of the places that would make me look cool. this is a really good idea, right?
EVERYONE should be making videos to their music. no matter the genre, no matter the level of seriousness. People post their songs on myspace so that their friends can check em out easily, frequently, for free. But what fun is scrolling through people favorite friends or reading ignorant comments while you jam out? MUSIC VIDEOS. Of course I support attentively rocking out... but EVERYONE looks at myspace and listens to their friends noise- it is easy and fun to make good music videos with no budget at all. Silver Jews did 4 videos for their last album, all shot and edited in a day and they are great. This is the future... do pizza people agree?

pretty incredible...it seems like you are happiest when you are at a house party shooting a music video...and i gotta say..i fell you on people just shooting music videos left and right...i mean...cmon...everybody knows at least one loser with a video camera...plus music videos are like a free for all anyway.
I totally agree. nice video christian. Yea, if you have the capabilities it's totally necessary. Even if you don't you should make like flipbooks and scan them or something. I mean, we all grew up with video and it exists, so we should do something with it right?

i definitely agree that music videos are a particularly exciting thing these days, with youtube, etc. youtube is really going to change a lot of things...it'll be interesting to see how it pans out...suddenly all these new channels of distribution are opening up - but with these interesting built-in limitations (the bad compression, the 10 minute time limit, etc)...

I totally think that people should be making more videos. Especially now that it is so easy to share them. Why listen to songs when you can watch them. I love watching things.
